We wanted to create a pair of greeting cards for a local farm to sell in their gift shop.
Work was completed while employed at Sagetopia.
I decided on a folk art style with a limited color palette that would let the illustrations pop. In addition to bees, I illustrated floral elements that would tie in with the farm's side floral business, arranging everything in a symmetrical composition around a hand-lettered pun.
These greeting cards play on the whimsical charm of bees, combining both visual and verbal storytelling through traditional folk art and clever wordplay.
