Prologue

The Jane Bancroft Robinson Foundation supports Black women who live East of the Anacostia River in Washington, D.C. The foundation works to advance the health and livelihood of these women.

The client needed an infographic to show the resources available to the women in the region. The infographic needed to be relatable, easy-to-understand, and eye-catching.

Work was completed while employed at Sagetopia.

Process

I illustrated the women and handled the visual storytelling and data visualization. I provided feedback as a colleague illustrated the buildings, landmarks, and other elements, which I then incorporated into the final infographic design.

Product

The result was an infographic that represents both the women and the region being served. With illustrations of real buildings in the area and an emphasis on diversity, the infographic conveys the content in a way that the women will find helpful and relatable.
